For forty years, the Thomas Edison Black Maria Film Festival competition has been celebrating creativity and innovation in the moving-image arts. Black Maria is an international juried competition of new short works in all genres, held annually. The festival launches its national tour in February, traveling throughout the year to states coast to coast and to selected universities abroad. Details are available here.
